When to Visit Twin Falls + How Many Days

Spring and Summer are the best times to visit Twin Falls, Idaho. The waterfalls will be flowing at their heaviest, the weather will be warming up with more sunny days depending on when you visit, and snow will have melted revealing the breathtaking Southern Idaho landscape.

I recommend spending 1-3 days in Twin Falls. You can certainly fit a lot into just a day of exploring because most things are very close in distance but up to 3 days allows you time to get the most out of the natural beauty of Twin Falls and all it has to offer.

How to Get to Twin Falls, Idaho

Boise Airport (BOI) is located in Western Idaho and is the main international airport for the state. You will need to rent a car (unless driving yourself from another location) to Twin Falls. The drive is about 126 miles (2 hours) Southeast of Boise on I-84.

TIP: I highly recommend on your drive to Twin Falls from Boise to make a stop at Bruneau Dunes State Park which is only a short detour from your route. You can read a guide for this state park below.
